New Site
It’s been a while. I’m confident that there is a change coming soon (very soon?) that will mean I can get back to writing, blogging, and doing things that I love with a little more regularity.
In the spirit of that, you might notice that this blog is housed on a new site. My old website domain expired and while dealing with that it made sense to build a new site that I could edit myself more easily. Take a look around and let me know where I’ve managed to leave typos.
New Ventures: Unramblings & Short Thoughts
One thing that I have managed to do with my time lately is to start a new venture—a podcast. Charlyn and I have been hosting Unramblings since early November 2019, although if you follow me on social media you already know all about that. If you haven’t heard though, it’s a podcast about stories and storytelling and we talk about a different story (be it book, TV series, movie, album, video game, etc.) each week and look at what it says and how it says it. You can find it on this website, on the host site, or on all reputable podcast apps.
I’m going to try and post on here a little more regularly. With that in mind, I’m starting a new series that I’m calling Short Thoughts. While I tend towards longer forms, the intention here is for me to post some shorter inconsequential musings on a more regular basis. This is primarily to keep me entertained and to maintain the habit of posting on here, but I hope that you’ll take some level of pleasure in them as well. And feel free to bust my chops when I inevitably post a 5,000 word “short” thought.
